Video inspection pigs are equipped with  "Pathfinder" magnetic tracking system in order that they be monitored throughout their travel. The facility also monitors stations to GPS coordinates at 1/10th second accuracy in order to correlate internal survey recorded information with the actual terrain. 

The new system presently covers pipe sizes from 10" and greater, allowing basic results to be made available immediately following the survey operation. This allows operators to stake out, geographically, any places where defects have been found from results of the survey operation. 

Final results provided on VHS or Hi Eight Tape together with full written reports can be made available for the domestic market clients within 14 days following the completion of field operations.
